Playback devices do not all pass every reference format. The endpoint must be verified before recommendation, not assumed.
Atmos is not proven by ceiling speakers or a logo on the app. The format has to survive the source, player, HDMI or eARC route, AVR mode, speaker assignment, listening mode and room handover before the owner hears the intended object-based mix.
The audit follows evidence from the source through the endpoint, TV, processor, and final room behavior.
